Liège is a city of old buildings and sloping streets, which changes everything about a move. The buildings around Le Carré, in Outremeuse or in the Saint-Léonard district have narrow stairwells and rarely a lift: bulky furniture goes through the window or gets dismantled, and that is decided at the quote stage, not on the day.
